LOCATION
5 days onsite in TN
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Serve as the senior manufacturing leader for the site with accountability for safety, production performance, cost, and equipment reliability.
Define and execute the manufacturing strategy needed to increase capacity and support continued growth.
Identify bottlenecks and lead initiatives focused on throughput, efficiency, labor utilization, OEE, and cost reduction.
Own key manufacturing financial drivers, including labor, overtime, scrap, maintenance spend, operating budgets, and capital priorities.
Strengthen safety culture and ensure safety is embedded into daily operations and leadership expectations.
Improve equipment uptime through stronger preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Develop a high-performing leadership team and create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engagement.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership, ideally within chemical, coatings, specialty materials, or a similar process manufacturing environment.
Experience leading complex manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall performance.
A strong track record of improving plant performance through Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets, manufacturing cost drivers, and capital investments.
Proven ability to lead and develop managers across Production, Maintenance/Engineering, Safety, or similar operational functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
