What You'll Do: Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing departmentLead nursing staff and nurse managers in delivering high-quality resident careDevelop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiativesManage staffing levels, performance management, training, delegation, and staff developmentEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirementsMonitor quality of care and develop plans of correction when neededCollaborate with physicians, medical professionals, residents, families, and other healthcare organizationsManage nursing department resources, including medications, medical supplies, equipment, and inventoryPrepare and manage the nursing department's annual budgetSupport residents' comfort, privacy, dignity, and overall well-beingProvide clinical guidance and participate in direct resident care during emergencies or as neededMaintain readiness for annual state and federal inspections What You'll Need (Required): Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) in which you practiceAt least 5 years of leadership experience in nursingAt least 1 year of experience in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative, and restorative clinical practicesDemonstrated knowledge of nursing and medical practices, regulations, and guidelines related to skilled nursing facilitiesAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate with residents, families, staff, and other customers Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)Experience in healthcare management and operations, quality management, staff development, and resident and family support Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMOn-call every other week Pay and Benefits: $99,000–$116,000/year, based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance403(b) with discretionary employer matchLife/AD&D insuranceShort- and long-term disabilityAccident and critical illness insuranceEmployee Assistance Program How to Apply: Apply directly through this posting.
