Position Summary
Play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nurses at one of the largest nursing colleges in the country!
Responsibilities
- Evaluate student progress and competency based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Interview and select nursing faculty who are qualified and contribute to the program and student outcomes.
- Supervise and evaluate program faculty including in-class reviews of each instructor.
- Orient new faculty to policies and procedures of the University and the program.
- Plan and lead program Advisory Board meetings.
- Ensure program faculty remain current in trends, issues and practices in the field, as well as effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc).
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed.
- Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a full-time faculty member in an approved nursing program.
- Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse.

- Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
