About the role

We are seeking LPNs and/or RNs for St. Louis city and county to work in our Private Duty Nursing/Pediatric Nursing program. They may choose to accompany a child with medical needs (typically a seizure disorder, feeding tube, trach and/or vent) to school and/or help the child during evenings, weekends, and other times school is not in session.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to clients in their homes
• Accompany children with medical needs to school and other activities
• Implement and monitor medical procedures as directed
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior experience as an LPN or RN
• Current valid license to practice as an LPN or RN in Missouri and Illinois
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: At least 1 year of prior experience as an LPN or RN
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to follow medical procedures, physical stamina
