About the role

Join Our Team as a Director of Nursing at The Columbia Presbyterian Community. In this role you will provide essential support to help maintain the smooth operation of our healthcare unit while taking the lead in shaping the clinical healthcare services across our community.

Responsibilities

• Balance hands-on clinical and resident care with essential administrative duties.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor staff to build a strong, cohesive team.
• Oversee employee health services, including TB screenings, physicals, and drug screens.
• Develop and execute staffing plans aligned with resident needs while efficiently managing daily resource allocation.
• Promote survey process awareness by demonstrating expertise and guiding staff toward informed participation.
• Manage and improve the quality of care, adhering to South Carolina Department of Health regulations, and maintaining certification/licensure standards.
• Contribute to the Vital Living Program to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

• Licensed as an RN in South Carolina.
• CPR Certification.
• 2+ years of clinical supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records (PointClickCare is a plus).
