Director of Nursing DON

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the high standard of care expected at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by fostering a positive and inclusive facility culture.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals.
• Inspire the clinical team.
• Create and solve problems creatively.
• Oversight of all aspects of the Clinical Department.

Requirements

• Minimum of Associate's Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Science, Nursing or related field.
• An unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
• 5 years of R.N. experience.
• Previous experience managing a department.
• Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
