About the role
The successful candidate will manage the 24-hour operations of designated units, ensuring compliance with established standards of care. Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Services, this individual will collaborate with medical staff to enhance and develop cardiac catheterization lab programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the designated units, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff to improve and expand cardiac catheterization lab programs.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the efficient operation of equipment and supplies, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and address any emergent issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient care and unit efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with an MSN degree.
- A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a Cath Lab management role.
- Strong background in managing cardiac catheterization lab operations.
- Experience in collaborating with physicians to grow or expand cardiac catheterization lab programs.
- Computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.

Pay
Market competitive compensation with a 9% differential in pay for those opting out of the Time Off Benefit Program.
