Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services.
- Lead, mentor, and develop approximately 60 nursing team members.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centered resident care.
- Oversee nursing services across skilled nursing and assisted living-level care.
- Monitor quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and staff development.
- Monitor resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and clinical documentation.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal long-term care regulations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, respect, dignity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Missouri RN license.
- Strong nursing leadership and clinical management experience.
- Long-term care/SNF experience strongly preferred.
- DON experience preferred; experienced ADON, Assistant DON, Nurse Manager, or similar nursing leader may be considered.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, quality assurance, staffing, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and long-term care documentation.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
