About the Role

Hurst Plaza Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing department. This role ensures the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Our facility delivers outstanding care, fosters strong employee bonds, and offers short-term to long-term care with a variety of living options and professional clinical services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing department.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing and experience working with geriatric residents is preferred.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Completion of company policy orientation.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check, showing no evidence of criminal activity.
• Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire.
