Director of Merchandising (Farmers Branch, TX)

Overview

The Dir, Merchandising is responsible for leadership and direction of Merchandising Managers to ensure that SGWS products are available and supported by point-of-sale materials in the accounts. The Merchandising Director leads all merchandising and stocking activities within a designated area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the overall staffing strategies and development, motivation, and retention of staff
• Analyze business results to develop and implement market strategies for merchandising to drive sales
• Establish the expected merchandising standards and ensuring that standards and accuracy control are met in the market
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes for all Merchandising functions
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Years of retail management, beverage industry or similar field (equivalent combination of education and experience accepted)
• Three or more years of experience in a manager or supervisor role, leading a team
• Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid drivers' license and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
