Job Summary and Qualifications
- Responsible for overall management of the day-to-day operation of the clinical unit.
- Specific responsibilities include: Performance Improvement, Policies and Procedures, Staffing/Productivity, Program Development, and Nursing care for specific patient population.
- The Director must work closely with staff, physicians, and other directors to ensure quality patient care.
- The Director guides the staff in the implementation of the nursing process and directs the cost-effective allocation of resources.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN).
- Registered Nurse license required.
- Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
- 3 years of experience required.
