Director of Manufacturing

Job SummaryThe Director of Manufacturing provides strategic leadership for all plant operations within a food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement while leading and developing manufacturing teams to achieve operational goals. Responsibilities Lead all manufacturing operations, including production, safety, quality, and maintenance.Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, service, and cost.Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, including GMP, HACCP, FDA, and USDA requirements.Develop and mentor production leadership teams.Manage budgets, labor utilization, and operational costs.Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR to achieve business objectives.Support capital projects, process improvements, and facility growth initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Food Science, Business, or related field.10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including food and beverage manufacturing.Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and food safety regulations.Proven success improving manufacturing performance, productivity, quality, and cost metrics.Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
