Director of Loan Closing & Fulfillment

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Loan Closing & Fulfillment to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $178,073 – $284,455 annually Responsibilities Lead and oversee all loan closing operations across multiple states ensuring accuracy and compliance Champion exceptional service throughout the loan closing lifecycle, minimizing friction and enhancing banker and customer interactions Drive process improvements and implement automation initiatives to optimize loan closing efficiencies Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations in all loan closing activities and maintain high quality control standards Recruit, coach, and develop a diverse team while fostering an engaging culture in alignment with company values Manage operational budget and prepare strategic reports for executive leadership Act as a key stakeholder in technology implementations impacting loan closing operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field required; MBA preferred 7-10 years of experience in banking or financial services operations, with at least 5 years in a management role within loan operations Experience managing large, remote teams efficiently Proven leadership in process improvement and technology implementations in banking operations Deep understanding of lending regulations and compliance frameworks such as TILA, HMDA, and CFPB Proficiency with loan origination and closing systems like nCino, Newgen, and DocuSign Familiarity with RPA tools and AI workflows in banking operations Benefits Fully remote work option available or in-office opportunities in operations centers Opportunities for career development and leadership advancement Engaging team culture that emphasizes collaboration and accountability Access to cutting-edge technology and automation tools in the banking sector Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
