Director of LGBT Student Services

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support for LGBTQIA+ students, fostering an inclusive environment
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the LGBT Student Services Office
• Promote visibility and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ students through advocacy and outreach
• Deliver educational programs on sexual orientation and gender identity to the campus community
• Collaborate on programming and leadership opportunities with various campus partners
• Lead signature LGBTQIA+ events and initiatives throughout the academic year
• Facilitate discussions on intersections of identity, culture, and faith

Qualifications

• Master's degree in student affairs, counseling, gender studies, or related field
• Minimum of two years of progressive administrative experience in higher education or public service
• Strong knowledge of LGBTQIA+ student experiences, program evaluation, and strategic planning
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports and exercise independent judgment
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills for various reporting purposes
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
