What You’ll Do
- Build & Scale Astro Pak Academy
- Lead the development of Astro Pak’s enterprise learning infrastructure
- Design and execute technician onboarding and new hire ramp programs
- Develop technical skill progression and certification pathways
- Implement advanced technical and operational training
- Develop safety and compliance training initiatives
- Design leadership development programs for frontline and operational leaders
- Create career development pathways that support retention and internal mobility
- Lead Technical Training Strategy
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and field leaders to build practical training programs
- Standardize technical curriculum, training materials, assessments, and facilitator guides
- Maintain consistency across locations while ensuring field practicality
- Ensure training accuracy and relevance through collaboration with technical SMEs
- Align training capacity with recruiting and workforce planning forecasts
- Support field-based trainers and operational leaders in program delivery
- Drive continuous improvement across technical training processes
- Build Leadership Capability Across the Organization
- Design and implement leadership development programs for Project Leaders, Supervisors, Operations Managers, and high-potential future leaders
- Focus on coaching and performance management, employee engagement, communication, leadership accountability, change leadership, Astro Pak culture and values, and building high-performing teams in operational environments
- Develop Learning Systems & Infrastructure
- Build scalable enterprise learning systems and processes
- Create learning roadmaps and curriculum libraries
- Instruct on instructional design standards and blended learning models
- Develop digital learning content and optimize LMS
- Establish certification tracking and reporting systems
- Create KPI dashboards and workforce learning analytics
- Develop program governance and measurement methodologies
- Measure Impact & Drive Continuous Improvement
- Own learning metrics and program effectiveness
- Monitor technician speed-to-productivity, training throughput, certification completion, safety and operational performance outcomes, leadership readiness, internal promotion rates, employee retention, and workforce capability growth
- Use data and operational feedback to continuously improve learning strategy, adoption, and business impact
- 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Technical Training, Talent Development, or Workforce Development
- Experience in field-based or operational environments such as industrial services, manufacturing, construction, or technical services
- Proven success in building technical training and leadership development programs
- Strong instructional design, program management, and stakeholder partnership skills
- Experience working closely with operational leaders and technical SMEs
- Willingness to travel regularly to field locations
- Building internal academies or enterprise learning systems
- High-growth or private equity-backed environments
- LMS platforms, certification programs, and workforce analytics
- Strategic and highly execution-oriented
- Comfortable building programs from the ground up
