Director of Laboratory Services

Duties

• Performs waived and moderate complexity clinical laboratory tests in one or more sections of the laboratory
• Participates in the responsibilities for quality control and quality assurance in accordance with CLIA regulatory requirements and standards
• Provides Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) services including: performance of clinical laboratory examinations, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management, and other functions toward the attainment of these goals

Director of Laboratory Services

• Oversights the laboratory processes, performances, interpretations of all testing within the Laboratory
• Responsible for the safe delivery of lab services on a 24/7 basis which includes patient care and legally working equipment
