Director of IT
Responsibilities
- Oversight project planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure of the control systems (i.e., ERP (IFS) systems and WAN).
- Act as the Technical Visionary for IT systems development.
- Responsible for strategic planning of IT systems.
- Responsible for developing and promulgating IT policies and standards.
- Oversee the purchasing of all software, hardware, and other IT supplies at the Enterprise level.
- Oversee lifecycle management of systems and software.
- Oversee software licensing compliance.
- Manage manufacturing floor control systems.
- Oversee software of Quality production lab systems.
- Oversee all help desk activities at the Enterprise level.
- Initiate and implement improvements in all areas of Information Technology.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Remain at the forefront of emerging industry practices.
- Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or another related field.
- Master of Information Technology Management, highly preferred.
- Fifteen (15) years of proven and relevant experience in manufacturing IT experience. Rubber industry preferred.
- Ten (10) years of senior level of professional, managerial and leadership experience.
- Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with a broad range of responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills across all business levels.
- Excellent computer/systems skills – MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
- Knowledgeable of Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL, RS Logics and Hyper-Visor.
- Excellent interpersonal, cooperation, collaboration, and team-building skills with ability to interact well with all personality types.
- Experience in managing, coaching, and developing a seasoned team of IT professionals.
- Able to think strategically and develop strategies and perform commercial analytics.
- Able to handle personal and confidential information.
- Willing and available to work outside of normal working hours as required to fulfill duties to support Operations, ERP systems and off-line office products.
