About the role

The Director of International Logistics & Compliance oversees all international logistics operations and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global supply chain operations, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners such as freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues related to international logistics and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international logistics and compliance, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing global supply chains and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with logistics software and systems, such as SAP or Oracle Transportation Management.
  • Knowledge of international shipping carriers and their services.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
