About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Integration & Security to lead and oversee low-voltage, structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, and integration projects across multiple states. This leadership role drives operational excellence, manages project delivery, mentors technical teams, and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, and multi-site infrastructure deployments, along with proven leadership experience managing field operations and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all low-voltage and security integration operations across multiple locations.
- Provide strategic direction for structured cabling, network infrastructure, and security system projects.
- Supervise project managers, field supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor project performance.
- Review engineering designs and ensure technical accuracy and execution.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of:
- Structured copper and fiber-optic cabling
- CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Network infrastructure
- Support network and computing infrastructure planning and implementation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and project records.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and project status reports.
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, progress updates, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Mentor, coach, and develop technical staff while building a high-performing team.
- Support business growth through operational improvements and process standardization.
- Travel regularly to project sites across the Southeast region as required.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in low-voltage systems, telecommunications, structured cabling, or network infrastructure.
- 2-3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing technical teams.
- Active North Carolina Low Voltage License (Required).
- Strong experience with:
- Structured Copper Cabling
- Fiber Optic Cabling
- CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
- Electronic Access Control Systems
- Multi-site Infrastructure Projects
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- RCDD Certification is highly preferred.

Work Environment

- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on project schedules.
