Director of ICU & MedSurg - Freeman Siloam Springs Hospital

About the role

The Nursing Director is the designated leader responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. They plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the units' activities and day-to-day operations. They are responsible for all patient care, actions, quality, and outcomes of the units. They collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and safe patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The Nursing Director has twenty-four hour accountability for the units.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the units' activities and day-to-day operations.
• Responsible for all patient care, actions, quality, and outcomes of the units.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and safe patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Has twenty-four hour accountability for the units.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state
