Director of HV Operations (Remote)

Position Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and execute the company’s High Voltage strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives
• Identify market opportunities for High Voltage deployment, including utility-scale projects, commercial and industrial applications
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance teams to develop cost effective High Voltage solutions and business models
• Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of High Voltage projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners to secure the necessary resources and expertise for High Voltage initiatives
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of High Voltage professionals, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Represent the company at client meetings, conferences and regulatory proceedings related to High Voltage

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of High Voltage and substation projects
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable insights
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
• Able to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently
• Flexible schedule due to client and project locations
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficient and knowledgeable in office practices, procedures and equipment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

• Requires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbs
• Constant finger dexterity and ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, talk, and possess depth perception
• Occasional climbing and carrying, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high exposed places
