Director of Health and Wellness

As an Assisted Living Director of Health and Wellness, you will lead a dedicated clinical team, build meaningful relationships with residents and families, and help shape a culture of compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Ensures community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports occurrence trends, and develops/implements improvement plans.
• Partners with Administrator and other team members to maintain health safety.
• Provides optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
• Assists with educational presentations as assigned.
• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment/Service Plan process.
• Safeguards resident’s service plan according to state regulations.
• Maintains communication with resident’s family and/or responsible party regarding changes in care or health concerns.
• Informs the Business Office of fee changes related to care needs, if applicable.
• Schedules clinical staff on a monthly basis.
• Maintains adequate clinical supplies.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Supervises LPNs and CNAs to ensure delivery of consistently high quality care to residents.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing; Registered Nurse preferred.
• One (1) year in a nursing leadership role; Senior Living experience preferred.
