About the role

The Modern Classrooms Project is a fast-growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering educators to build classrooms that meet every student's needs. Our mission involves leading a movement of educators in adopting a differentiated, mastery-based instructional model that utilizes technology to enhance human connection, learning, and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation, Campaigns, Scoring, and Analytics: Define and execute our pipeline generation efforts across all channels, including email marketing campaigns, lead scoring, and analytics. Ensure email deliverability and work closely with Sales and RevOps to monitor pipeline quality.
  • Marketing Automation & MarTech Platform Management: Own our Salesforce Account Engagement platform, ensuring its smooth operation and full utilization. Manage other martech tools and platforms within the marketing team.
  • Paid Media Strategy: Develop and optimize our Google Ads budget and explore future paid media channels. Report on performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strategic Partner Go-to-Market: Plan and implement go-to-market efforts for our strategic partners, including philanthropists, curriculum and technology vendors, and education associations. Serve as the primary point of contact.
  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute our marketing strategy and shape the future of MCP.

Requirements

  • Experienced growth marketer with practical knowledge of essential tactics, channels, analytics/KPIs, and tools common to small and mid-sized companies.
  • Fluent hands-on knowledge of marketing automation platforms, particularly Salesforce Account Engagement.
  • A solid understanding of the K-12 district buying cycle, process, and market dynamics.
  • A builder at heart who is excited about creating processes, templates, and strategies from scratch.
  • A true strategist and hands-on marketer, comfortable with crafting GTM strategy and executing nurture series.
  • Familiarity with specific tools and platforms, especially Salesforce, Asana, Google Workspace, Claude, Apollo.io, Gong AI, RollWorks/AdRoll, etc.
  • A genuine curiosity for how AI can scale a marketing team and hands-on familiarity with AI tools (especially Claude Chat/Cowork/Code) in a marketing context.

  • Experience in K-12 education and marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing automation platforms.
  • Understanding of the K-12 district buying cycle and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

  • Salaried position: $113,000 - $125,000 gross salary per year.
