About the role

Drive congressional advocacy on issues that shape the future of healthcare. Represent Epic before federal policy makers and serve as a key voice on legislative issues affecting healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop government relations strategies that advance pro-innovation policies that put the patient at the heart of healthcare and help providers succeed in an evolving regulatory environment.
  • Primary focus on federal affairs, building and sustaining relationships across the House and Senate.
  • Partner with government affairs teams at health systems, hospital associations, and other key healthcare stakeholders to drive aligned, high-impact initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • A history of academic and professional success
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of working days

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with government relations
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology

Location

Based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
