About the role

This role involves providing exceptional guest service, implementing and training staff on new procedures, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and communicating effectively with both guests and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in preparing weekly work schedules and adjusting them as needed to meet business demands.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff and review pertinent information for the day's business.
  • Assign work duties to staff and communicate changes during shifts.
  • Identify and address situations compromising department standards.
  • Ensure staff adhere to Sonesta Service Standards.
  • Participate in daily technical and personal service training.
  • Maintain the check-in/check-out process, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
  • Handle guest complaints politely and professionally.
  • Assist staff with their job functions to enhance guest service.
  • Monitor and report on guest/employee accidents or injuries, and handle emergencies.
  • Pre-register VIPs according to standards and inspect their rooms daily.
  • Greet and escort VIPs to their rooms and manage group special requests.
  • Check-in and check-out guests according to Sonesta Service Standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must have a strong commitment to guest service, be actively involved in ongoing training, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay

$85k to $90k annually, with eligibility for a bonus plan.
