Director of Food & Beverage
About the role
The Director of Food & Beverage will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects with flair, efficiency, and independence. Reporting to the General Manager and part of the Executive Committee, they will be responsible for maintaining the F&B operation, upholding service standards, and owning the P&L lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the Ned's Club food and beverage operation in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Create an approachable yet elevated atmosphere for members, guests, and staff within various spaces.
- Manage payroll/labor, budgets, and revenue, and develop systems for efficient and effective service standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all member and guest experiences are supported.
- Identify talent gaps, attract/acquire talent, and support new hire on-boarding and training.
- Develop innovative revenue channels and partner with membership to gather feedback and develop initiatives.
- Partner with the Executive Chef to align with vision and expectation on service deliverables.
- Handle guest service enhancements and resolve glitches, train the team on Medallia scores, and maintain high guest satisfaction scores.
- Manage expectations on sponsorship and brand alignment, and work closely with the sponsorship team.
- Able to work various shifts to support the operation during peak hours and special events.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, with a strong background in food and beverage operations, leadership, and collaboration. They should have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven ability to manage a team and develop systems for efficient and effective service standards.
- Experience with financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, members, and guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Pay
$160,000 to $195,000 per year based on experience & qualifications.
