About the Role
The Connor Group is one of the country’s most successful owners and operators of luxury apartment communities. We are seeking a highly disciplined individual to join our team as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This critical, hands-on role is responsible for delivering actionable insights, developing scalable financial models, and partnering with senior leadership to drive strategy and performance.
Responsibilities
- Own global cash forecasting for all properties, funds, and corporate entities.
- Direct the comprehensive budgeting process for the corporate office and properties, partnering directly with leadership to build budgets and manage ongoing actual-to-plan variance analysis.
- Analyze and plan cash management, including the ongoing evaluation of funds available versus needs, and optimize strategies to earn maximum interest on deposits.
- Execute proper planning to correctly utilize appropriate financial levers, ensuring the lowest cost of capital.
- Analyze reserves at the fund level and provide data-driven recommendations for distributions following property capital events.
- Maintain, update, and implement treasury procedures and internal controls while driving organizational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial or analytical roles.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers/business partners.
- Proven record serving as a strategic partner to the business with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Strict attention to detail, highly organized, efficient, and ability to multi-task.
- Treasury experience is a plus.
