Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and audit coordination
- Develop and present budgets and financial insights to leadership and board
- Oversee cash management, investments, and financial strategy
- Drive cleanup of financial backlog and improve processes/SOPs
- Manage and develop accounting team (direct & indirect reports)
- Ensure compliance, fund accounting accuracy, and risk management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
- 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Nonprofit accounting experience required
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and financial operations
