Job Purpose
The Director of Finance & IT serves as a key member of the Warren Rupp Senior Leadership Team and has full responsibility for the business unit's finance and information technology functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary financial advisor to the General Manager and Warren Rupp Leadership Team.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to drive revenue growth, profitability improvement, resource allocation, working capital optimization, and cash flow performance.
- Lead development of business strategies through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecast, strategic planning, and long-range planning processes.
- Drive performance management through timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all IDEX financial policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.
- Maintain a robust SOX-compliant control environment and oversee audit activities.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver on business performance.
- Identify and drive productivity initiatives, cost optimization efforts, continuous improvement and margin expansion opportunities.
- Drive working capital optimization initiatives, including inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow performance.
- Lead capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and post-investment performance reviews.
- Provide overall leadership for the IT function, including developing and executing the business unit’s technology roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing Finance and IT teams demonstrating servant leadership and fostering a culture of accountability.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent advanced financial credential preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive Finance leadership experience, preferably within a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and financial reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with business and operational leaders to drive financial and operational performance.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements preferred.
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams, with a strong focus on talent development, succession planning, and building organizational capability for future leadership needs.
