About the role

The Director of Federal & Special Programs is responsible for overseeing federal and special education programs within Beeville ISD. This position ensures compliance with federal regulations and provides leadership in the development and implementation of educational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and compliance of federal education programs such as Title I, IDEA, and others.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve educational outcomes for students receiving special education services.
• Collaborate with district staff to ensure effective communication and resource allocation for special education programs.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and administrators regarding special education policies and procedures.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in special education administration or related field.
• Knowledge of federal education laws and regulations, including IDEA and No Child Left Behind Act.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of state and local education policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,372.00 to $96,834.00 per year.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works standard business hours.
