DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

About the role

The Director of Development Services oversees all aspects of fundraising and community engagement initiatives for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual goals.
• Manage donor relations and stewardship programs to enhance long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling narratives that resonate with potential donors.
• Oversee grant writing efforts and secure funding from various sources.
• Organize and execute events to engage the community and raise awareness about the organization’s mission.
• Monitor and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in development roles, preferably in non-profit organizations.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and event planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking ability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with CRM systems and fundraising software.
