About the role

We are seeking a Director of Critical Care to promote growth and unlock possibilities at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. The Director ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s), forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The role fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration, supporting the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with facility objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall function and staffing of the critical care unit(s)/department(s).
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor forecasting, planning, and budgeting for the department.
• Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to support facility objectives.

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of applicable experience required.
