About the role
The Brain Injury Association of America is hiring a strategic leader to support the strength of our partnerships and maximize our revenue across the nation. As our full-time Director of Corporate Partnerships, you'll serve our mission to advocate for and support individuals affected by brain injury. While this is a remote role, travel is required for attending meetings, conferences, and other events.
Your impact
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is vital to our ability to grow revenue, build beneficial new partnerships, and deliver quality programming across the country. We're seeking a highly ambitious, growth-focused person to develop a profitable corporate pipeline in alignment with our mission.
- Assess sellable assets and promote them across our various programs, events, and platforms
- Develop mutually beneficial corporate partnerships and demonstrate the value we can provide leaders
- Cover multiple markets, working with local and state leadership to maximize revenue opportunities across the country
- Maintain the health of our existing partnerships by ensuring we meet all contractual obligations and fulfill partner deliverables
- Coordinate with development, marketing, and programming teams to assess our partnership offerings and ensure they align with our strategic priorities
- Ensure we meet annual revenue targets and develop and execute effective business plans to achieve this (recruiting volunteer leaders, leveraging key networks, etc.)
- Travel as needed, preparing and delivering impactful proposals and presentations at industry events, conferences, and meetings to spread our message and strengthen connections with both current and prospective corporate partners
Requirements
- Residence within one hour of a major metro airport and the ability to travel as needed
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 7+ years of successful corporate partnership, sponsorship, or business development experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations/proposals to corporate decision-makers
- Demonstrated success in identifying, packaging, and selling sponsorship or partnership assets
- Strong command of Business English with the ability to prepare thorough written and oral communications
- Comfort consulting and negotiating with corporate leaders at the highest level
- Analytical mindset with exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage numerous partner relationships and deliverables simultaneously across markets
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
