  • Ensure operational efficiency, safety, and readiness of aircraft and hangar facilities.
  • Hire, train, and supervise pilots, maintenance staff, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a culture of safety, service, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee flight crew training, qualification, standardization, and professional development.
  • Provide mentoring, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Ensure all operations align with FAA, EASA, ICAO, and company-specific aviation policies.
  • Ensure compliance with the department's Safety Management System.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Lead safety audits and implement guidelines in aviation operations.
  • Coordinate aircraft maintenance, inspections, and regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain operational readiness and ensure high standards of safety and reliability.
  • Serve as a trusted aviation partner to Masco’s senior executives.
  • Communicate complex aviation issues in clear, business-focused language.
  • Supervise aircraft scheduling and utilization to maximize safety, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Oversee logistics including catering, ground transportation, and accommodations.
  • Develop and manage the aviation department’s annual operating and capital budget.
  • Implement cost controls and optimize departmental efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend aircraft acquisitions, dispositions, and major capital investments.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management detailing performance metrics, budget status, and key initiatives.
  • Represent Masco in industry associations such as NBAA and MBAA.

Qualifications

  • FAA-certified pilot with current credentials and flight experience in corporate aviation, including Airline Transport Pilot certificate and FAA Medical certificate.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership background in aviation operations, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record in mentoring and coaching team members and can encourage and empower teams to achieve optimal performance.
  • Strong business and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with executive presence.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other relevant aviation standards.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement experience and ability to find opportunities and solutions.
  • Critical thinking and organizational insight to navigate corporate environments and foster cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience with the Phenom 300E and/or Falcon 2000LXS preferred.

Pay

Hiring range: $141,900.00 - $222,860.00 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills.
