Verizon recently acquired Frontier and plans to transition non-union Frontier employees into Verizon compensation and benefits programs. This position will be part of that planned transition.

About the role

As the largest pure-play fiber provider in the U.S., we deliver blazing-fast broadband connectivity that unlocks the potential of millions of consumers and businesses. This leader will drive Frontier’s successful growth into new and existing territories throughout the country, developing and supporting sales talent to maximize growth in both new businesses and with existing customers. You will align customer needs with Frontier solutions, ensuring customer growth, experience, and market penetration targets are achieved. This role is critical to Frontier’s transformation strategy and requires a superb collaborator who builds high-performing teams, coaches talent, and fosters a diverse, entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop your team to exceed projected sales goals assigned to the segment.
  • Build customer loyalty and a strong referral network in partnership with your team.
  • Partner and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer touchpoints meet targeted KPIs.
  • Create pride in the organization and develop high-quality performers for future leadership roles.
  • Evangelize and champion Frontier’s expansion mission, purpose, and needs internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Proactive in adopting sales best practices and a leader in process adherence.
  • Comfortable speaking with C-suite about financial metrics, calculations, and business case assumptions.
  • Demonstrates market and industry knowledge, recognizing changing market trends.
  • Excellent objection handling and contract negotiating skills.
  • Ability to oversee talent development programs and efforts.
  • Demonstrates the ability to link corporate strategic goals to customer-facing solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly resourceful in overcoming barriers and objections.
  • 10+ years of previous experience in telecommunications and managing sales teams.
  • BA/BS degree from a four-year college or university; MBA preferred.

  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 + Commission Target
