Director of Construction - Data Center

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Construction - Data Center to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Supervise project teams of construction managers and contractors
• Manage capital budgets and project schedules in collaboration with corporate finance
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and IT systems
• Ensure compliance with building codes and NFPA standards
• Audit installed components to guarantee vendor and design compliance

Qualifications

• 7+ years in critical infrastructure construction, focusing on data centers
• Expertise in budget management, accounting, and contract negotiation
• Strong strategic leadership skills with ability to influence and navigate cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business/Finance (advanced degree preferred)
• US citizenship required
