Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to build a high-performing organization.
  • Foster a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, safety, quality, and exceptional client service.
  • Partner with the People team on recruiting, onboarding and performance management.
  • Establish best practices and standardized operating procedures across the organization.
  • Provide oversight for all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to mitigate schedule, budget, or quality impacts.
  • Oversee project staffing and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Review project financials, schedules, forecasts, change orders, and cost reports to ensure overall portfolio health.
  • Partner with Project Managers to resolve complex project challenges and support successful project execution.
  • Lead weekly operational meetings with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Continuously improve construction processes, reporting and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, etc.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of construction experience in Retail with a General Contractor.
  • 5 years of experience managing Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
  • Experience with Retail fit-out and ground-up construction.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP plans.
  • Experience with Procore or a similar Project Management software.

Skills

  • Construction experience in Retail.
  • Management experience of Project Managers and Site Superintendents.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $200,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time position.
