We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes a "Job Description Summary" and "Essential Functions" and "Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities" and "Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities" and "Accountabilities", "Physical Requirements", "Environmental Conditions", "Additional Job Description Time Type Requirement". We need to decide which sections to include based on content. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. However we can also use other headings? The instruction says: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It suggests those are examples; we can use those headings if appropriate. We should map content to these standard headings. We need to include sections only when posting has real, specific content. So we need to extract: - About the role: summary description (Job Description Summary). Could be "About the role". - Responsibilities: Essential Functions list. - Requirements: Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities. - Qualifications/Skills: maybe Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities could go under Skills or Qualifications. Could combine. - Benefits: Not mentioned. No benefits details. So we should not include Benefits. - Pay: Not mentioned. So omit. - Schedule: Not mentioned (full time mentioned but not schedule details). There's "Time Type Requirement Full time". That's schedule info. Could include Schedule section with "Full time". But we need to avoid placeholder like "not specified". It's specified as Full time, so we can include Schedule. Also we have "Physical Requirements" and "Environmental Conditions" maybe could be under Requirements? But not in standard headings. Could we create a custom heading? The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those examples. Safer to stick to those. We could incorporate physical/environmental into Requirements or maybe under a separate "Working Conditions" but not listed. Might be better to omit if not fitting. We need to preserve all substantive information; we cannot drop details like physical requirements. But we could embed them within a

under Requirements or maybe under a generic "Details". However the instruction says we should not invent sections; but we can include a

with that info under an appropriate heading. We could have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills, Schedule. Under Requirements we can include required education, knowledge, skills, abilities, plus physical requirements and environmental conditions. Under Skills we can include preferred qualifications. Let's extract details. About the role: The Job Description Summary paragraph. Responsibilities: Essential Functions list (many bullet-like sentences). We'll turn each sentence into

  • . Requirements: Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities paragraph. Skills: Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities paragraph. Schedule: Full time. Also we have Accountabilities, Physical Requirements, Environmental Conditions, Additional Job Description Time Type Requirement. We'll incorporate Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions into Requirements maybe as a note. We must not include boilerplate like "External Applicants Please ensure..." etc. Remove all application instructions, navigation, etc. Also remove "Job Description Summary" heading? We'll not include that as heading; we'll just put content under About the role. We must not repeat job title. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must not include cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. Let's craft HTML. Start with

    About the role

    then

    with the summary. Then

    Responsibilities

    then
      with each essential function as
    • . Then

      Requirements

      then

with required education etc. Then maybe another

for physical requirements and environmental conditions. Then

      Skills

      then

      with preferred qualifications. Then

      Schedule

      then

Full time. Check for any duplicated lines: ensure we don't repeat. Now extract the summary text exactly: "Job Description Summary The Director of Communications provides essential communication, digital media, and creative support for the Educating Character Initiative (ECI), a grant-funded project working to catalyze a movement in character education at colleges and universities across the U.S. Since 2023, the ECI has built a community of character among over 2600 individuals and 850 organizations / institutions; awarded nearly $60 million in grants to our partners; hosted educational and community-building webinars, conferences, convenings and other events; and become a major team in its unit, the Program for Leadership and Character at Wake Forest University, and a significant presence in character education around the world. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to successfully drive continued engagement with the ECI Community, encourage connection between members, amplify our grantees’ work, oversee storytelling about the impact of our work, contribute to the design and dissemination of character-related resources and reports, and attract participants to apply for grants. The role requires a style that encourages community-building, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders, and the interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate with the Executive Director of the Educating Character Initiative and the Director of Collective Learning on a variety of projects. The Director of Communications may also support other communications activities of the Initiative and the Program for Leadership and Character on an as-needed basis. This is a grant-funded position supported by a multi-year grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. Wake Forest University is a private, coeducational institution dedicated to academic excellence in liberal arts, graduate, and professional education. Located in Winston-Salem, NC (“The City of Arts and Innovation”), the University has a deep institutional commitment to public service and engagement with the world, as indicated by the motto Pro Humanitate (for humanity), which encourages students to develop the qualities of human character needed to serve humanity. With the aim to educate the whole person, the University has established an innovative Program for Leadership and Character that plans creative programming and courses to help students develop the character needed to lead inclusively in an increasingly complex world. The Program is based on cutting-edge academic research on leadership and character, including research conducted by Wake Forest faculty in various fields who are leading experts on the study of character. For more on the Program, see https://leadershipandcharacter.wfu.edu/. Over the last few years, the Program for Leadership and Character has received major grants and gifts to develop leaders of character at Wake Forest and support other colleges and universities who seek to promote leadership and character on their campuses. We are now supporting a significant expansion of work to external partner institutions through the Educating Character Initiative, aimed at empowering and equipping other colleges and universities to educate character in their contexts. These efforts include support for major conferences and convenings on character; managing a community platform; developing character-related resources that faculty and staff can use to design and deliver courses and programming; and community-building and capacity-building grants to facilitate this work at other institutions. Details about the Educating Character Initiative are available here https://leadershipandcharacter.wfu.edu/eci/. Please submit (1) a cover letter explaining your communications experience and your fit with the Educating Character Initiative; (2) a résumé or curriculum vitae; (3) a portfolio of 3-5 pieces of relevant communications work (stories, articles, newsletters, videos, posters, reports, etc.); and (4) three professional references (at least one of whom must be a current or former supervisor). Deadline for priority consideration is October 18, 2026. This position is eligible for remote work. The position will remain open until filled. This position is not eligible for sponsorship of non-immigrant or immigrant visa status through Wake Forest University. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply." But note: The part about submitting documents etc is application instruction; we should remove that. Also deadline, remote work, visa sponsorship, etc maybe considered metadata but not boilerplate? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The deadline, remote work, visa sponsorship might be considered part of job posting but not application instructions? It's not exactly application instructions; it's job details. However "Deadline for priority consideration is October 18, 2026." could be considered metadata but not prohibited. The instruction says we can include Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections only if posting actually states them. It doesn't forbid including other info like deadline. But we have no specific section for deadline; we could include it in About the role paragraph maybe. However the instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep that info. But we need to decide where to put it. Could add a sentence in About the role paragraph. But also the part about "Please submit (1) a cover letter..." is application instruction; we should remove that. Also "Deadline for priority consideration is October 18, 2026." maybe keep as it's not instruction but detail. However it's about application timeline; could be considered application instruction? It's about when to apply; but it's not instruction on how to apply. Might be okay to keep. Remote work eligibility: also detail. Visa sponsorship: detail. We'll keep those in About the role paragraph. Now Responsibilities: Essential Functions list.
