Director of Clinical Services (RN or LPN)(Full-Time) - Northstar Square

About the role

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as Director of Clinical Services for Northstar Square, an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The role oversees the delivery of high-quality resident care and partners with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access earned wages instantly.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate positive customer service relations and community’s quality care and service standards
• Incorporate wellness philosophy, standards, and objectives into staff evaluations within the Wellness Department
• Provide direct resident care/services and medication management when indicated
• Complete and maintain individualized, accurate health assessments and updated service plans for each resident
• Provide direction on the format and approach to resident care/service management
• Ensure community compliance with medication management procedures in accordance with state and company guidelines
• Serve on Quality Improvement Committees, including Resident Care management, Infection Control, and Safety
• Act as the Infection Control Coordinator, following all OSHA safety guidelines

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a management position in Long Term Care, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing
• Underlying knowledge of overall disease processes in the elderly and familiarity with residents diagnosed with Dementia
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to geriatric resident care in assisted living and memory care
• Solid understanding of resident assessments and the care planning process
• Ability to handle multiple differentiating priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Minimum of two years of supervisory and management experience
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local adult care regulations
