Director of Clinical Services Home Health

Overview

Job Location: New Port Richey, FL. The Director of Clinical Services – Home Health will oversee the operations of our home health agency, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with Medicare regulations. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to clinical and non‑clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The position requires a visionary leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for home health care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision of clinical and non‑clinical services.
• Manage clinical operations, services, personnel, and office operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or valid compact nurse license) meeting state requirements.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience within the immediate previous 36 months.
• Minimum one year of experience with home health.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing home care operations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Basic technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Oral and written communication skills; fluency in English; active listening.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to maintain dependable transportation in good working condition and drive safely in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management experience.
• Experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, facilitating clear communication with patients and caregivers.
