Responsibilities

Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Temple, Texas. We provide inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Our mission is to offer compassionate health care and a supportive environment.

Requirements

The Director of Clinical Services oversees the clinical services programs at Canyon Creek Behavioral Health. This role requires a graduate degree in nursing, social work, or a related mental health field, with a minimum of five years of experience in the psychiatric/mental health field. A master’s degree is preferred, as is three years of advanced clinical/management experience. State licensure in mental health is required, along with preference for an LCSW license or higher.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as TJC, HCFA, OSHA, and patient rights standards is essential. UHS does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for this position.

Qualifications

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field.
