Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business and improving business procedures.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Implements practices to ensure compliance with operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Executes HR activities including recruitment, interview coordination, employee onboarding, and training to ensure smooth business operations.
- Develops budget and ensures financial and operational metrics meet organizational objectives by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring issues affecting profitability, growth, and productivity.
- Executes business strategy in an efficient and financially responsible manner to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Reports directly to the COO. Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Five years of experience in clinical research.
- Experience managing clinical research site staff.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBI and Teams, is preferred.
Working Conditions
Indoor, Office environment. Lightly active position, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Reporting to work as scheduled is essential.
