Director of Civic & Community Affairs

About the role

Jewish Federation of Greater Charleston is seeking a Director of Civic & Community Affairs to help strengthen our community’s voice, relationships, and impact across the greater Charleston area. This role will lead Federation’s work across three key areas: civic engagement and advocacy, education, and community relations.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with elected officials and community partners
• Advance efforts to address antisemitism
• Develop and coordinate educational initiatives related to Jewish identity, Israel, the Holocaust, and antisemitism
• Create opportunities for dialogue, learning, and connection across the broader community
