Director of Care-DOC (Long Term Care)

About the role

Caressant Care is seeking a passionate Director of Care to lead their team of care providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the long-term care facility
• Ensure the provision of high-quality care to residents
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to support resident well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address the needs of residents
• Manage staff performance and professional development
• Engage with residents, families, and community members to enhance the care experience

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to organize and manage tasks effectively

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or related field
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in long-term care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The salary range is $110,000 - $122,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
