Director of Buildings and Grounds

About the role

The Buildings & Grounds Department at our Slingerlands, NY facility is seeking a full-time, 40-hour Director of Buildings & Grounds. This position oversees maintenance and operations across Warren, Washington & Albany Counties.

Responsibilities

This is a salaried, overtime exempt position. A typical work week is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, but scheduling flexibility is required for emergencies and snow removal duties. The annual salary is $90,000 + longevity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license meeting WWAARC insurability requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in buildings or grounds maintenance is required
• Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Must have a strong background and demonstrate proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, building and equipment repair, residential and commercial HVAC systems and repair, and grounds maintenance (plowing, mowing, and/or landscaping projects)
• Physical requirements: Manual labor position requiring regular standing, lifting, kneeling, and bending indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. Must be able to regularly lift 50-75 pounds with or without accommodation.

Pay
