Director of Biostatistics (R&D)

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing biostatistics team and promote collaboration
• Oversee statistical study design and analysis for oncology product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrating statistical expertise into project workflow
• Prepare protocols and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead statistical discussions with regulatory agencies
• Innovate and apply advanced statistical methods for complex studies
• Drive team efficiency and quality of statistical analyses aligned with company goals

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industry, 5+ years in diagnostics with a preference for NGS, genetics, and oncology experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing teams
• Master's in statistics, biostatistics, or similar; PhD preferred
• Robust knowledge of statistical methodologies in diagnostics, including FDA guidelines
• Experience working directly with regulatory bodies like the FDA
