Responsibilities
- Provide support to students through advising and next level handling of student issues.
- Monitor faculty follow-up with students concerning absence, missing work and/or poor academic progress, contributing to the institution’s commitment to student retention and success.
- Review and provide feedback on instructor performance.
- Ensure training aids and tools are in working order and request upgrades as needed to support/enhance student learning.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new programs, and alignment of existing curriculum.
- Classroom teaching as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Associates Degree in relevant field required. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred. 7 or more years of progressively responsible industry experience. Previous Academic Management experience preferred.
- Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels. Strong time management skills and detail-orientation. Working knowledge of computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new computer software. Experience with distance learning or learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
