What you will be doing The Director of Assisted Living & Memory Care provides overall leadership and operational oversight for assisted living and memory care services, ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and team performance. This role is responsible for the management and development of administrative, clinical, and caregiving staff, while fostering a resident-centered environment that promotes dignity, safety, and quality of life. The Director establishes service objectives, performance expectations, and care standards for all assisted living and memory care personnel. They evaluate resident care and services to ensure individualized needs are met, families are appropriately engaged, and care plans align with physician recommendations. This position also provides leadership and support to department managers and supervisors, driving accountability, staff development, and continuous improvement across the community. In addition, the Director partners in the planning and management of departmental budgets, ensuring effective resource utilization and financial performance. The role collaborates with the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations to assess resident placement inquiries, determine appropriate levels of care, and support successful resident transitions while maintaining exceptional service and occupancy goals. Experience Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience. At least 5 years of experience working in an Assisted Living Facility preferred. Strong knowledge and interest in the senior living field. Knowledge of State and Federal guidelines for Homes for the Aged is preferred.
