Director of Architecture

About the role

We are a forward-looking architecture and design firm delivering a wide range of housing solutions, with deep expertise in multifamily development and the strength of one of the nation's largest affordable housing owners behind us. Our core strength lies in revitalizing existing buildings through thoughtful rehabilitation, and we're actively expanding into adaptive reuse and ground-up construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed and accurate design documentation from concept through construction documents
• Transform conceptual ideas into detailed design solutions during Design Development phases
• Document existing conditions and translate them into renovation opportunities
• Work closely with our integrated team to develop innovative solutions for complex housing challenges
• Contribute to the design vision while ensuring technical feasibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) or Master of Architecture (MArch) degree. Architecture license preferred
• Previous experience building out policy/procedure/process- creation of the business components of an architecture firm
• Multifamily and affordable housing project experience is a plus
• Able to "build the plane, while flying," handle ambiguity
