Director of Applied Research

For our client, we are seeking a Director of Applied Research to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This leader will shape the technical direction for AI-driven search and retrieval capabilities that support media products and information experiences. The role sits at the intersection of applied research, machine learning engineering, and product development, turning advanced models into practical solutions that improve discovery and user value. You will guide a high-performing team, partner closely with product stakeholders, and establish the standards used to evaluate quality and effectiveness at scale.
